History
The Civil Air Patrol was formed on December 1, 1941 to conduct patrols over coastal waters. Their aid in World War II included capturing German U-boats off the Atlantic Coast.
Today, the Civil Air Patrol continues to help the country and community by assisting in homeland security and educating youth of the importance of aerospace education and search and rescue.
