Due to State College's topography, mountain biking is a challenging endeavor. You can ride an easy trail at one of the state parks, or you can test your skill at the deer pen trails. These trails are located out by Toftrees on Fox Hollow Road. Parking is somewhat difficult as the entrances to the trails are located in residential neighborhoods.
